ANIMATIONS

CHALLENGE

All users (diabetic patients) need to be able to successfully pair the bluetooth connected devices to their smartphones. We need to account for users with low confidence in technology, including elderly patients.

2

CREATING STEPS

step by step onboarding

We paired and repaired the devices to break them into steps & documented every interaction so we could display accurate animations

3

STORYBOARDING

animation prep

Every animation was storyboarded out to know the exact movements that would be needed

3

ANIMATE!

animate in AfterEffects

I created all of the assets in Illustrator and then animated using AfterEffects.

DEVELOP

working with developers to build smartly

I exported all assets as JSON files to be pulled into the app using Lottie. This method helps us make the animations small and builds for the future. Developers can easily adjust colors, timing and text using the JSON files, which make the animations ready for future medications and pen types.
